J-Rock Revolution

   
This is a video made for a subject in college. The objective was to create a video based on existing videos, editing them in a new way.

I had a hard time deciding the video's theme. One day, I was listening to Linkin Park and when this music started to play I suddenly visualized a video.

The theme is pretty simple, a kind of revolution made by Jrock (Japanese Rock) Musicians for a world that refuses itself to try their songs and maybe find a new kind of music. The world must be prepare for their arrival...

Using the Pv System, the first thing I had to make was to find one artist that would "sing" the music. And for the ones who know him, well, he may be the best or one of the best for this job. So, he (name, Miyavi) would be the "leader" of this group of revolutionaries through their mission.

Following him, bands like (Alice Nine, 12012, Dir en Grey, The Gazette, On/Off, UVERworld and other). For them I search for parts of Pvs that would be more dark/scary/serious/mysterious to add that feeling of "something big is about to happen" and I hope I managed to do it right.

Finally, I wanted to find a "legendary" band to finish and be like one of the reasons for the revolution, kind of its Godparents. And I think no other band could suit better for this part, X Japan is from far the most legendary Rock Band from Japan.

In the end I had 13 points (out of 20) but I really liked the video. Today when I watch it I can find some things that could be better, but I guess that happens a lot to people who do this kind of video. Even in my shortmovies, its something that happens all the times xD I hope I can get better and maybe do more Pvs (with original footage).
